Following the success of the first LP by the Basso Valdambrini Quintet, Walter Guertler quickly recorded a second set of music in a comparable California jazz vein. These recordings feature the original quintet with the addition of Italians Franco Cerri, Mario Pezzotta, Attilio Donadio and Piero Humiliate, Sweden's Lars Gullin and Swiss musician George Gruz.
