The Wylde Ratttz formed in 1997 to record tracks by The Stooges for the film 'Velvet Goldmine'. With Ron Asheton as the secret weapon, the songs were easily dispatched and the band quickly organized a second session that produced a mixture of originals, covers of songs by The Pretty Things (one of Ron's favourite bands) and 40 minutes of killer instrumental tracks. The recordings also feature Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore and Steve Shelley, plus Mike Watt, Sean Ono Lennon and Don Fleming. The latter also was the producer. This is a limited edition on COLOURED VINYL.
