Giovanni Tommaso is an Italian jazz bassist and founder and member of the Italian jazz rock ensemble The Perigeo band. He composed 'Indefinitive Atmosphere' by late 1969, his first album released as a sole composer and artist. Beside the misspelled title, this album was ahead of its time. Tommaso played electric bass and double bass, and with the studio musicians he recorded a stunning set of jazz-funk, jazz-rock and free jazz. Guest appearance by Steve Lacy.
