Soggy
French band Soggy started back in 1978, playing covers of Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, MC5 and The Stooges. However, the members soon started writing their own material, blending elements of hard rock with punk, which led to the 'Waiting For The War' 7-inch, dating from 1981. After more than 100 concerts the band split in July of 1982. Nevertheless, Soggy's cult status has only grown over the past years. In 2008 a collection of the band's recordings was released by the French label Memoire Neuve. It sold out quickly, so this new CD-version is most welcome.
