Shaggs

Philosophy Of The World

Available again. An undisputed cult album returns to vinyl! In the late '60s one Austin Wiggin from New Hampshire was convinced that his daughters Helen, Betty and Dot were great musical talents. He made them write songs and practice their instruments, and then he financed their album 'Philosophy Of The World', released in 1969 under the SHAGGS moniker. Maybe the girls were talented, but if so, it wasn't in any conventional way. Nevertheless, their album is truly weird and the atmosphere of the songs is extremely psychedelic and other-worldly. This LP provides a new generation of fans with the opportunity to get addicted to the far-out sounds of The Shaggs!
