In the 1970s even behind the iron curtain there were bands playing progressive rock. Well known examples are Omega from Hungary, SBB from Poland, Grupa 220 and Hobo from Yugoslavia, Modry Efekt from the Czech Republic and of course Phoenix from Romania. A more obscure -yet much worth while- band from Romania was Progresiv TM. This group combined elements from blues, folk and jazz and added heartfelt vocals with lyrics in their native tongue. Now here's a welcome reissue of their wonderful '76 debut-LP.
