Once dubbed "the rhythm section's revenge" by Jim O'Rourke (who the duo of Darin Gray & Glenn Kotche have collaborated with). The melodies are delicate, beautiful & haunting, surrounded by driving rhythms, & assembled into complex & precise collages of sound. They make use of upright bass, unusual percussion, field recordings, vibraphone & various small instruments, exploring both repetition & spaciousness in these recordings.
