Doin' The Hully Gully

Los Angeles high school buddies The Olympics first hit it big in 1958 with the classic single 'Western Movies.' Soon after that the guys started a dance craze with '(Baby) Hully Gully,' which also was the inspiration and title track of this 1960 LP. The cut 'Big Boy Pete' was another big single and a huge influence on pacific northwest garage rock legends The Kingsmen. Included on this reissue are many of those classic early singles plus bonus tracks.
