Vinyl only reissue. 1997 was a big year for the Olivia Tremor Control. They were riding high on the release of their classic neo-psychedelic debut double-LP 'Dusk At Cubist Castle' and touring the world relentlessly. During a visit to the UK John Peel requested the band to visit his studios to record for his radio show. 17 years later, 'John Peel Session' is released, featuring a couple of never-before-released songs. A radio session that has been officially licensed from the BBC, this is continued evidence of a band that is in further need of celebration.
