Interbellum is the musical project of Lebanese singer-songwriter Karl Mattar. This album contains a wonderful set of guitar-driven, lo-fi sounding songs, recorded live to cassette. Playing like a broken music box with kaleidoscopic melodic songs, the album features contributions from Marwan Tohme, Julia Sabra and Pascal Semerdjian from dream-pop quartet Postcards, and Camille Cabbabé from post-rock ensemble Közö.
