With Gilbert's pointillist melodicism counterbalanced by Lewis's menacing bass and sardonic lyrics, this duo has always juggled darkness and light in its various collaborations (Dome, Cupol, etc.). While they explored cinematic soundscapes on the album '3R4', on this set they return to more song-based territory with icy vocals, detached guitar lines and even a faint industrial vibe. This first-time vinyl reissue is recommended to fans of SPK, Chris Carter and Einstürzende Neubauten.
