"We've been working on this release for a while now (years? Sheesh, where does the time go? we started writing some of those songs as far back as 2019) and we've been touring and traveling in the meantime, and generally trying to keep ourselves together. We started recording in Glasgow, UK, then Nesat and Phnom Penh, Cambodia, then Goa, India, then Pai and Chiang Mai, Thailand, and finally we're putting the last touches here in Japan. Because we travel with minimal studio equipment and usually borrow what's missing, wherever we can."
