US pressing. Dakar, 1972. Another stone winner from Tyrone Davis, cut during his classic stretch on the Dakar label! During the Dakar years, Tyrone just kept turning out great little soul songs, all of 'em filled with that raspy emotion that was his unique vocal trademark, and touched with a bit of the blues from his west side roots. The title cut's a hit on this, but there's loads of other beautiful songs about love and remorse, f.i. 'Your Love Keeps Haunting Me', 'After All This Time', and 'Was I Just a Fool'. Produced by Willie Henderson, with arrangements by Gene Barge and Tom Tom Washington.
