Shayne P. Carter (born in Dunedin, New Zealand) is best known for leading early '80s punk band The Bored Games, followed by The Doublehappys, then the Straitjacket Fits into the mid 1990s. From 1995-2012 he was the only permanent member of Dimmer. 'Offsider' is the first album released under his own name.
