Very Fast & Very Far
In 1977 the US government sent two unmanned probes - Voyager I and Voyager II - on a one-way journey into interstellar space. On board of each craft was a carefully etched golden record containing sonic artefacts of a.o. life on earth, including fragments of Bach and traditional musics, sounds of animals, children's laughter and nature. Recorded by three expeimental musciians from Sydney, 'Very Fast & Very Far' is a tribute to - or a remake of sorts of - the aforementioned golden records.
