Originally dating back to 1973, a classic album by this influential psych/folk-rock duo/trio from Chile sees its awaited reissue on vinyl. Amerindios formed in 1968, and although the style was associated with the 'nuevo canto' genre/movement, Amerindios showcased a special approach by adding instruments such as electric guitars, something that was unusual in those days. This is an essential album to understand the popular music of Chile in the pre-Pinochet dictatorship days, for its texture, fine melodies and excellent songs.
