Ripcord are one of the most highly respected bands of the late '80s U.K. hardcore punk scene, who's influence can still be felt today in hardcore punk. 'Defiance Of Power' is the legendary debut album, released originally in 1987 on the classic Manic Ears label. The original fourteen tracks have been digitally remastered, and as a bonus comes a live show from July 1987 in Arnhem, The Netherlands, as well as a band rehearsal recorded March 1987. Featuring lots of unseen footage and liner notes from Baz and John from the band.
