Based in Philadelphia and featuring Solomon Burke's brothers Alex and Laddie, as well as brothers Timmy and Earl Smith, The Show Stoppers released some excellent vocal soul singles during the second half of the '60s. This EP presents four of their best songs, including the classic hit 'Ain't Nothin' But A House Party'. The other tracks here are 'Heartbreaker', 'Action Speaks Louder Than Words' and 'Don't Leave Me In The Pouring Rain'.
