Compiled by Detlef Weinrichs (a.k.a. Tolouse Low Trax), this compilation echoes the legendary samplers found on Les Disques Du Crepuscule or Made To Measure. It's a hybrid journal that not only collates unusual pieces of music - rare and undiscovered pearls from the experimental underground of the early 1980s through to contemporary unreleased recordings -, it also represents a reflective collage of cut-ups, observations and memories in the neverending search for inexplicable beauty. Featured are 11 tracks of unique pop fusions meandering through states of casualness, a nocturnal thirst for adventure, and the intense yearnings of hot, sultry afternoons with an uneven and brittle quality.
