The Young & Cold label presents a split mini album featuring El Deux and Frische Farbe. El Deux was a short-lived Neue Deutsche Welle act which released one album and three singles between 1982 and 1984. Frische Farbe from Switzerland was formed circa 1978 in Aarau by guitarist Gutze Gautschi. Originally a punk band which featured Dieter Meier (who later formed Yello), Gautschi reformed the band and moved towards new wave/minimal electro sound.
