Reissued on GREEN VINYL in a fine tip-on jacket, this is a classic 1969 release by Wilson Pickett. The LP was cut with the Muscle Shoals session crew while Duane Allman added his intense, bluesy guitar to the mix. The material includes ultra cool covers of Steppenwol's 'Born To Be Wild', The Beatles' 'Hey Jude' (obviously the title track) and Don Covay's 'Night Owl', as well as great originals. Essential southern hard soul!
