On 'AU', the duo's swirling, chameleonic brand of experimental pop sounds like a hybrid of Tame Impala, Purity Ring, and past collaborators and tour mates The Flaming Lips. The material was mixed by psych artist Morgan Delt, and is loosely based on Michael Ende's novel 'The Never-Ending Story'.
