SORXE is a four piece experimental sludge/post metal band from Phoenix AZ, consisting of guitar, drums and two bassists. Relying heavily on improvisation in the writing process the band pulls ideas from an eclectic well of inspiration. Neurosis, Swans, Melvins, Pink Floyd, are all bands that been major influences. 'Matter & Void' is their debut album.
