Vinyl version of a truly great album by Edward Rogers, inspired by the late great Kevin Ayers (hence the title). 'Kaye' is the fifth solo album from UK-born, NYC-based singer-songwriter, Edward Rogers. Inspired and dedicated to the late English singer-songwriter and psychedelic legend Kevin Ayers (a founder member of Soft Machine), 'Kaye' features 11 new Rogers originals and a version of Ayers' 'After The Show'. Rogers has put together a stellar group of musicians to play on 'Kaye'. Musicians include James Mastro (Ian Hunter, Bongos), Sal Maida (Roxy Music, Sparks, Cracker), Dennis Diken (The Smithereens), Joe McGinty (Psychedelic Furs), Don Fleming, Gary Olson (Ladybug Transistor) and Pete Kennedy (The Kennedys, Nanci Griffith) come together on 'Kaye', which was produced by Don Piper (A Don Piper Situation, Syd Straw), and also features backing vocals by Tish & Snooky (Manic Panic, Sic Fucks).
