The Emergency Stairs are a garage band from France, who record in a VERY lo-fi style. Primitive rock and roll. In fact listening to the 4 songs on this record, you would be hard pushed not to believe it wasn't recorded with one microphone on an reel to reel in the singers dad's garage in 1964. It sounds exactly like a young '60s band capturing their songs on a home made recording. There's no booming drums and Vox Phantoms in sight! This is the genuine lo-fi style of early '60s recordings. The only difference being this was recorded in France in 2023! Play it loud. Comes on orange wax, limited to 100 copies.
