Issued on 10-INCH (black vinyl), 'Heaven, Vol. 1' finds Mono at its most hopeful and cinematic. These three tracks ('Lucia', 'Smile' and 'Silent Embrace') were recorded by Takaakira Taka Goto at his home studio in Japan, with drums recorded by Amak Golden at Golden Hive Studio in Prague.

0530643 LP CFUL 265 2090505306439 CARDINAL FUZZ	AMBASSADOR HAZY - GLACIAL ERRATICS Cardinal Fuzz and Feeding Tube Records are delighted to make available for you the debut release by Ambassador Hazy - 'Glacial Erratics' - previously pressed as a private press edition of 100 records back in 2020. Ambassador Hazy is a solo recording project by Sterling DeWeese who was previously in a slew of obscure bands including Heavy Hands, Dirty Rainbow, Terrapin Gun, Madison Electric and Black Fantastic. 'Glacial Erratics' is really a comeback record as Sterling had totally stopped playing for 7 or 8 years after he got married and started a family and the business of life took over - but the calling was always there and as his youngest began to grow - the time became available for Sterling to answer the call. First though he needed to get his «" reel to reel 8 track back in working order and set up a studio space and fit it out with gear. It required the small matter of converting part of the basement into a studio, building the walls, and adding enough soundproofing to hopefully keep the neighbors and his wife happy - but such a thing was not going to stop Sterling. Soon he was playing again with some local musicians and recording some of those performances live to tape but the hassle of getting everyone together at the same time was hard so in the downtime Sterling began focusing on recording on his own. Thus the name 'Glacial Erratics' was born, as it was all a bit of a hodge podge (i.e. erratic) and ended up being done over several years (i.e. glacial). Once there was enough material finished, between band tracks and solo tracks Sterling compiled them. The resulting album is a kaleidoscope of contagious hooks and artfully crafted songs, laid to tape and brought to life in brilliant colour. 'Black Smoke Rising' is a blur of fuzz guitar and stuttering snare hits as Sterling tells us 'I believe in the future - don't take it away' and over 14 tracks you are treated to artfully crafted acid pop gems that are riddled with potholes and weird left turns, with hooks that seem to bubble out of nowhere before receding into themselves. The lo-fi aesthetic works perfectly, with the songs benefiting from the warm fuzz tones of the instruments and vocals recorded onto that now fully functioning «" tape machine. 0530644 LP CFUL 260 2090505306446 CARDINAL FUZZ	AMBASSADOR HAZY - THE DOOR BETWEEN Following 2022's much loved and long sold out 'The Traveler' Ambassador Hazy is back with 'The Door Between' (the title taken from an old detective novel) which is a perfect metaphor for album's explorations into consciousness and perception, seeing the connectedness between all things while also embracing one's solitude and separation from others. Themes that were amplified as the record was recorded alone in a basement during a pandemic. With some new mics and toys featuring on this recording, Sterling experiments a bit more with recording techniques and different sounds which bring about a more overtly psychedelic sound than on 'The Traveler' and with a few songs being more explicitly drug related (and or induced). 'The Door Between' is about being an outsider, or at least that feeling of being outside of things and the ways one might find connection be that through drugs, music, love. So while 'Orange Halos' starts the proceedings the overtly upbeat and infectious melodies we have come to know and love from Ambassador Hazy - by the time you reach 'Going Down' you are dropped into Martin Rev/Suicide synth/drum machine head trip. 0530834 2xLP BONF 17 7427252014662 BONFIRE	BACHDENKEL - LEMMINGS (2LP) Bachdenkel was an English rock band that started under the name The U (Don't) No Who in 1968. The three piece consisted of band leader Colin Swinburne on vocals/guitars/keyboards, Peter Kimberley on bass/piano/vocals and Brian Smith on drums, with Karel Beer as an additional musician, engineer and producer. The group relocated to France to live, perform and record. Their first effort - 'Lemmings' - was released on Philips France in 1973, showing their excellent musicianship and songwriting. Conceived as a three sided album it was recorded during the summer of 1970. This double version includes 3 missing tracks originally conceived for the Initial Recording Company EP, a small label ran by Karel Beer. The album has an evident late sixties British psych-rock flavor, but comes with occasional harder moments and longer, more developed compositions in a proto progrock manner. A piece of tangible vinyl with often transient and evanescent content; sound appearing and fading such that you can lose certainty as to whether it emanates from the record or from out in the street. The music measured and atmospheric; a rural psychedelia on the cusp between folk and country; gnomic lyrics, meditating on loss as a stage in the cycle of nature, with a strong impression of a patient, unforced gestation. The sleeve has a stark beauty; the front being a fine piece of John Hurford frontier art, akin to that of Jeff Horsey's 'Rattlesnakes And Heartstrings.' There is no legend and nothing on the spine either. The back shows two rustic, bearded gentlemen with small guitar, a pump organ, and an ancient zither; there are song titles but they're barely decipherable. This pair are Jens Unossun and Arne Jonasson. Jens is a founder member of The Spacious Mind, a notable Swedish ensemble who, for nigh on three decades, have been releasing memorable psychedelic music. They famously accompanied Tom Rapp, of Pearls Before Swine, at his Terrastock appearance in London in 1999. Jonasson is a regular collaborator with Jens on such side-trips as The Holy River Family Band. They're the sole performers on six of the eight tracks here; Jens singing and playing keyboards, Arne on various stringed instruments, and both adding percussion. The other two - 'Sweet Home Blues (Redneck Dumbfuck Blues)' and 'Green Was The Day (Bottom Of The Well)' - see them joined by the Head Country Hoedowners - Snosun and Aarnson Jones, Black Owl, and Dave Hell - and the presence of these acclaimed purveyors of outlaw mutation boogie signal changes in mood. "The West Country can be a strange and mad place. It surely was in those wild counter-cultural days as the '60s slid into the '70s. Arriving in Bristol in late 1971 for what proved a five-year stretch I crossed paths - in cider pubs, occult bookshops, venues, and record shops - with all manner of characters touched and changed by their doings during those times. Similar doings likely rubbed off and left their mark on me. This extraordinary artefact hails from that milieu, fleshes out a tale that's been retold a few times in various under-the-radar settings, and given three of the central protagonists are now dead perhaps now tells the definitive story. It rescues lost music and presents it as it was originally meant to be, before temporary silliness and pique took hold, making good on renewed but shelved intentions. It's music weird, crazy, and magnificent, possessed of truly creative, psychedelic madness. Uncle Luis is an emblematic figure of rumba in Perpignan. He was one of the first artists to transgress the established order in the early '70s. At that time, on the benches of public places Cassanyes or Puig, in cafes, the gypsy artists of Perpignan engaged in real jousting singing. Flamenco singing was the noblest and most prized of all. Meanwhile, in southern Catalonia, another music was moving a whole generation. However, the Barcelona record industry was unable to break into the French market with rumba. Uncle Luis enjoyed partying with his friends from Barcelona, Chacho, Peret or Los Amaya. As soon as he could, he took his nephews Joseph and Bruno with him to participate in these memorable celebrations. They couldn't come back without their latest single. This one then was played constantly on the turntable of the bar of the Puig place until the grooves were not readable any more. The rumba had made its debut in Perpignan and a new generation of artists was born: Les Rumberos Catalans.

But it was too early on its own era to be able to cope with dandies of the acid and fluo generations. It even could try, in the '80s, to pick a quarrel with Rita Mitsouko, but hits, Didier and his hallucinated mates always prefered to torn, to torture more than turn them into gold. Indies by mission, pain in the ass by taste, on the edge by means, libertarians by insolence, girls and boys from X Ray Pop didn't make their lifes easy: it's the price for being uncompromising. During a few hours, if I remind well, I've even been the improvised manager of the band. One day, I told that to the Beastie Boys, and they were really impressed, them, maniacs about distorded sounds, who had put the hand through mysterious ways on a 7" from the band in New York (it was before the internet, respect). 0517295 LP ACL 75 0889397107758 AUDIO CLARITY	COLTRANE, ALICE - PTAH, THE EL DAOUD (IT) 'Ptah, The El Daoud,' recorded and released in 1970, is the third solo album by Alice Coltrane. The album was recorded in the basement of her house in Dix Hills on Long Island, New York. This was Coltrane's first album with horns (aside from one track on 'A Monastic Trio' - 1968 - on which Pharoah Sanders played bass clarinet). Sanders is recorded on the right channel and Joe Henderson on the left channel throughout. Coltrane noted: "Joe Henderson is more on the intellectual side, while Pharoah is more abstract, more transcendental." All the compositions were written by Alice Coltrane. The title track is named for an Egyptian god, Ptah, "the El Daoud" meaning "the beloved". 'Turiya,' according to the liner notes, "was defined by Coltrane as "a state of consciousness - the high state of Nirvana, the goal of human life", while 'Ramakrishna' was a 19th-century Bengali religious figure and also denotes a movement founded by his disciples. On 'Blue Nile,' Coltrane switches from piano to harp, and Sanders and Henderson from tenor saxophones to alto flutes. The album's cover design was by Jim Evans. 0497276 LP SEAL 7 2090504972765 SEALED	NEWTOWN NEUROTICS - KICK OUT! Repress! Formed in 1979 in new town Harlow, The Newtown Neurotics are one of the most underrated yet essential punk bands. 'Kick Out!' is a 15-track round up of their first six singles taking in the years 1979 to 1984. The first two singles 'Hypocrite' and 'When The Oil Runs Out' were melodic nuggets released on their own No Wonder label. Both of these singles were written prior to the election of the Thatcher monster. The horror of this event changed what was the non-political writing style of Steve's lyrics into the other extreme, and so in June 1982 'Kick Out The Tories' was released on CNT records. Sadly 38 years later, the lyrics are most poignant and needed than ever. The band continued releasing single after single from the painfully personal to the politically pertinent, all done with intelligence and style. Also included is 'Andy Is A Corporatist/Mindless Version' taken from the 'Son Of Oi!' compilation. The album comes with a 32 page booklet of archive - photos, reviews, interviews and more and was conceived to be released alongside the documentary of the same name about the band's history. 0505540 LP SEAL 10 2090505055405 SEALED	PARTISANS - ANARCHY IN ALKATRAZ/NO FUTURE DEMOS 1980-1982 19 track round up of demos from The Partisans who formed in Bridgend, South Wales in 1978 and ended up being one of the cream of the UK82 punk movement. The first side of the LP has 10 tracks recorded in April 1980 in one day and like bands in their early years - it features mainly covers. It includes songs from the Sex Pistols, Stiff Little Fingers, UK Subs, Buzzcocks, UK Subs, Cockney Rejects and yes even more UK Subs. It also has primitive and raw versions of future Partisans classics 'No Time' and 'I Don't Give A Fuck'. This demo has never been heard or released in any form. Less than a year later, February 1981 with Savage leaving and Louise joining on bass, the band have their most well known line up and are in full flow with a 6 track demo that was sent to No Future Records. It's not surprising the label snapped them up straight away as the recordings are high energy and full of anthemic gems. The label released 'Police Story' and 'Killing Machine' as the debut 7" direct from these recordings. The other four tracks from this demo have never been released on vinyl. The last three tracks on the LP are the demos from 1982 recorded for No Future for the '17 Years Of Hell' single. Rawer and more punk than the actual well known versions. All members of the bands helped in this release and shared original masters from which everything was remastered plus archive from their own personal collections including photos galore, handouts, ticket stubs, interviews etc. which are included in the 28-page booklet.
