Back in print! These guys from Uruguay weren't mods, nor were they rockers: they were LOS MOCKERS! To begin with, this CD contains the tracks from their '66 LP, which was recorded after they'd moved to Argentina. With songs that are extremely catchy, showcasing traces of early Stones (vocalist Polo Pereira, with a slight accent, emulates Mick Jagger's early snarl more accurately than anyone else from the time), garagerock and early psychedelia, the LP stands as a true monument in South-America's mid-late '60s garage scene. Apart from the original LP cuts, this release also includes additional material, making for an even greater collection!
