Automatic City hails from Lyon, formed in 2015 to resurrect the music they love, indulging their fantasies based on crossovers between blues, black music, B-movie rock'n'roll and exotica.
They release 'Hum Drum', which enters the 70's and takes a step forward. This album was composed during the covid pandemic. Like a desire to get back into the swing of things, with probably less blues, but more glitter, keyboards, drum machines and, above all, a groove that shakes every track. 'Hum Drum' features three compositions and five covers, which makes it a work of alchemists in search of the groove grail. The band created a breathless, hectic record, rare and intriguing as a shower of multicolored shooting stars, which will be reflected in the ears of fans.
