The Decibels are almost like a cicada; after a hiatus comes out of nowhere another record. Work on 'When Red Lights Flash' actually started at the very end of 2019, and the album was finished after the pandemic lockdowns were ended. While they still present their trademark sound of big chords, big beats and catchy melodies inspired by The Beat, The Romantics and The Plimsouls, the album has a different underlying current.
