Marking the 100th release on Light In The Attic and following the Record Store Day reissue of PiL's debut single 'Public Image', here comes the reissue of the pioneering group's debut album 'First Issue'. After the Sex Pistols disbanded, John Lydon formed Public Image Ltd, a band which featured bassist Jah Wobble, drummer Jim Walker and guitarist Keith Levene. PiL were a very distinct prospect from the Pistols, founded with a greater thought for rhythm, with a sound that turned the page from snarling punk to a more experimental sound fusing rock, dance, folk, ballet, pop and dub. This 2023 reissue comes on clear red vinyl, comes with poster, sticker, insert and download card, which gives access for a non-album track and an interview with John Lydon from 1978.
