Immersed in the maelstrom of mind-bending music emanating from the Krautrock capital of Düsseldorf, Vibravoid emerged from the city's 1990s underground music scene as Germany's premier pioneers of visionary, "Neo-Krautrock" influenced psychedelia. Led by enigmatic multimedia artist, musician and DJ "Doktor" Christian Koch, the band has continually championed the righteous goal of pushing the boundaries of vinyl records to stratospheric heights. Everyone has secrets - some dark, some joyous. The inspiration for 'The Secrets In Her Eyes' comes from the hidden desires the simmer beneath the surface and the realization that sometimes those secrets are more interesting when they remain a mystery to others. 'When The People Arise' is a reflection of what's happening in our world right now. We are the people, and we have the power, but it seems we don't realize it or perhaps once knew but have since forgotten. This song is a reminder of the potential in us all. The psychedelic intensity of both songs was achieved in part through the unique sounds of Vox Phantom guitars and a Mellotron for interesting bass sounds, plus vintage effects including Coloursound Fuzz and various tape and analogue delays via the Dynacord Echo and Boss DM1. A classic Tascam 424 4-track cassette machine and an archaic Sennheiser MD421 microphone provided the perfect authentic touches.
