The original line up of Monster Magnet presents 'Test Patterns: Vol. 1'. The psychedelic track 'Tab' was originally released back in 1991. Here we get a 2021 mix of the original track plus the never before released 1988 demo version. Both tracks have a running time of over 24 minutes. Julian Cope described the original release as distilling Hawkwind, Sabbath and The Stooges into a lysergic soup of brown acid and bathtub meth, and ultimately cultivating a "Altamont vibe": the negative end of the psychedelic spectrum. The LP is pressed on 180-GRAM BLACK VINYL and comes housed in a beautiful gatefold sleeve with an acid blotter insert.
