After their debut album 'Primates', released in 2019, Baston presents their follow-up 'La Martyre'. The titles of the eight songs all refer to nightclubs in northern Finistère in Brittany, France. Far from the sunny garage pop debut, Baston continues to dig the furrow of cold, hypnotic and haunting music, moving skilfully between German psychedelia, current English post-punk and new wave, easily dodging the pitfall of the stylistic exercise to impose an album of its own.
