During his long career that took him from Finnish prog rock wave with Wigwam to the heavy jazz rock heights of the 1990's, Pekka Pohjola has tried so many things. 'Sinfonia No. 1' was his only foray into the world of classical music. Inspired by Sibelius' 5th Symphony, Pohjola created this unforgettable piece of Nordic classical together with the Avanti Orchestra in 1989. Comes on red vinyl.
