After the demise of Liverpool-based beat combo The Kirkbys, band leader Jimmy Campbell formed a new, much more psychedelic sounding band called The 23rd Turnoff. This cool EP combines the tracks from the band's sought after sole single (released in 1968) with two previously unissued cuts.
