Larry Douglas has ruled as one of San Francisco's top trumpet/flugelhorn players for more than three decades. With his velvety-silky tone and wide-ranging musical curiosity, Douglas has been one of the Bay Area's biggest jazz names. His debut solo album 'Dedications' was released in 1985 and received tremendous response; two tracks from the album were sampled by Madlib. Also featured on these recordings are guest musicians Ronald Wilson (Sun Ra Arkestra) and Jimmy Lewis (Horace Silver, Idris Muhammad). Tidal Waves Music now proudly presents the first ever vinyl reissue of this originally privately pressed album. Comes on limited 180 gram vinyl edition, complete with original artwork and sleeve notes by Larry Douglas himself.
