Big Scenic Nowhere, the supergroup led by Bob Balch from Fu Manchu returns with a killer EP entitled 'Lavender Blues'. The band, comprising of core members Gary Arce from Yawning Man and Tony Reed from Mos Generator, features Per Wiberg (Opeth, Spiritual Beggars) on synth and piano, Daniel Mongrain (Voivod) on guitar and Chris Goss from Masters Of Reality. The sound once again has this mellow and psychedelic attitude, with pinches of space rock and a matrix of desert sound, as well as some progressive passages and old school hard rock riffs. Black vinyl edition.
