'Wild Ferment' by Greek band The Steams is composed of impressionistic and evocative pieces, meandering between sweet melodies, heavy riffs, and dynamic drum beats. Eastern influences blend with the sound of Californian psychedelia to create a kaleidoscopic experience. Incorporating collaborations with guest musicians playing traditional Greek instruments: the Cretan lyra, the laouto, and tsabouna (the Greek bagpipe) adds to the album's novelty and takes listeners on a immersive journey beyond the boundaries of the psych rock genre.
