Reissued on vinyl officially for the first time, this is the second album from Nigerian outfit Akwassa, with the same line-up as The Heads Funk Band. The main difference between 'In The Groove' and the earlier records by The Heads Funk Band is a more slick and polished feeling and a strong reggae element. Originally issued in 1977, 'In The Groove' offers a delightful serving of energetic Afro-funk!
