If you are looking for an example of how beautiful an independent soul production can sound, this should be your choice. 'Tighten Up Your Love Bone' b/w 'Is This Really Love' is probably one of Don Gardner's best releases. Due to the fact that even mint original copies, from 1967, play with crackle throughout on both sides, this legitimate reissue is even something for those collectors who usually do not buy reissues.
