Emerging from the melting pot of the late 1980s New York club culture, Deee-Lite fused elements of funk, soul, pop and hip-hop with the emerging sounds of the acid house movement to produce an inspired, multi-cultural debut. Including the mega hit 'Groove Is In The Heart', the debut-album 'World Clique' features guest musicians from a.o. Funkadelic/Parliament and A Tribe Called Quest. The second disc of this set contains special remixes. An interview with the iconic singer Lady Miss Kier is also included.
