Sakset is a collaboration of Finnish sound artists Läjä Äijälä (Terveet Kädet, Death Trip, The Kolmas, The Sultans...), Jussi Lehtisalo (Circle) and Tomi Leppänen (Circle). The group's avant-electro debut 'Lahja' is a haunting album driven by distorted arpeggios, subliminal harmonics and echo chamber melodies. The band's chaotic appeal is extracted in equal parts from Kraftwerk and Rancid Hell Spawn, nailed down by Läjä Äijälä's guttural charm. This music equals sex.
