'Safari' is an essential Latin soul/boogaloo cut from master Tito Puente, heavy on the horns and percussion as you would expect. It's taken from the 'The King Tito Puente' LP, which was released on Tico in 1969. Willie Bobo's 'Be's The Other Way' is another lovely Latin soul/boogaloo jam, though more mid tempo and jazzier. This tune was originally released on a single that was issued by Tico in 1964.
