THE READY-MADES is the name of a soul- and beat-quintet from Paris, fronted by an outstanding female singer! We hear a brilliant musical arrangement with saxophone, guitar, bass, bongos and soft, rhythmic drums accompanying a breathtaking, strong voice. The sound here is authentically '60s and inspired by R&B-, and (Northern-)soul artists such as ETTA JAMES, BIG MAYBELLE, or THE RONETTES as well as French '60s swinging mademoiselles à la CLOTHILDE, LARRY GRECO or SYLVIE VARTAN.
