A vinyl-reissue of the third album by Australian lounge, jazz and electronic cult musician John Sangster. Originally released in 1969, this was his final album for Festival Records. 'Ahead Of Hair' offers noteworthy interpretations of songs from the famous tribal/hippie musical 'Hair', done in his personal style and with additional original electronic pieces. Players on this album are John Sangster, Bob McIvor, Ken Herron, Lennie Hutchinson, Derek Fairbrass, Col Nolan and Ben Turpin. The album was produced by Pat Aulton.
