TV Buddhas are Mickey Triest and Juval Haring, playing drums and electric guitar. Their dance influenced mix of Velvet Underground and Black Sabbath has earned them praise all over Europe in 2008, a year in which they played over 170 shows across the continent. TV Buddhas use slim repetative stringy lines amplified through a bass and guitar amp, deep bluesy vocals and a minimalistic drum set consisting of a floor tom, a snare and a cymbal. They play directly in your face on the floor, drenched in sweat and emotion. Hailing from Holon, Israel, they represent the upcoming indie scene from their country.
