the 1920s which promoted them. On the inside booklet youll find miniature reproductions of each of the original ads. They are all part of a massive find of original 1920s Blues artwork, much of which had never been seen before. The very popular song, "Jail House Blues" by Sam Collins is the title track.
First released on the Black Patti label, its the kind of song that makes other Blues singers jealous, with great lyrics,
fabulous guitar and a magnificent performance. Two recently discovered Blues masterpieces by Blind Willie McTell are
included on this CD. Recorded in 1931 and long assumed lost, these two tracks were the last of his known songs to
