The Association was one of America's top vocal popgroups of the '60s, releasing many hit singles ('Along Comes Mary', 'Cherish, 'Never Ly Love', 'Windy', etc...) and a number of successful albums for Warner Bros. They released this album (here in a remastered version!) in the early '70s. Not as snappy as their '66 debut, or as psychedelic as 'Birthday' from '68, 'Waterbeds In Trinidad' still is a tasteful collection of well written -and skillfully performed- tunes. And you aren't likely to find a better cover version of the Lovin' Spoonful's 'Darling Be Home Soon'! It's about time this album was recognised by a wider audience.
