Australias heaviest Doom merchants, Pod People hail from the nations seemingly ghostlike capital city of Canberra, home to such illustrious landmarks as Parliament House and the Australian War Memorial. Lurking within shadows of the cities barren landscape and uninspiring corporate buildings is a deep and heavy rumbling of something altogether more sinister just waiting to be heard. Hammering and pummeling monstrous slabs of groove ridden doom since their low end beginnings of the early 90s, Pod People have pushed their death-tinged Sabbath rifferama - meets Kyuss thunder into a monstrous groove machine that simply crushes all in their path.
