Yet another split EP - and this time with a slightly different approach; Magnus Sundström (Des Esseintes, The Protagonist) and Darrin Verhagen (Shinjuku Thief, E.P.A.) have remixed each others work, combining their talents into something new and extraordinary. The reflective yet harsh electronics of des Esseintes (from the forthcoming album 'Les Diaboliques') have passed through the Shinjuku Thief filter with added orchestral colours and dramatic tension, while the aggressive noise outbursts of E.P.A. (from the album 'Black Ice') have been partially disarmed by des Esseintes' tranquil rhythms and textures. All together, this release offers 30 minutes of experimental electronic mayhem at its best - by two of the most recognized artists in the business.
